add 50g of the concentrate to a clean bottle. Make up to 500g with deionised or distilled water

Scott's Tap Water is an alkaline laboratory solution used in histology and cytology. In procedures like Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining, it gently changes the color of hematoxylin from red to a crisp, specific blue.

Function

• Bluing Agent: It removes H⁺ ions from the hematoxylin dye, shifting the nuclear chromatin to a permanent, dark blue state.
• Tissue Preservation: It acts more gently than regular tap water, reducing the loss of tissue sections or cells from the glass slides during the rinsing process
